When I was on Good Things Utah last week, I demonstrated how to cover wooden eggs with paper. I thought it would be fun to keep the same tree up all spring long by adding shamrocks and flowers made from paper. QuicKutz has so many fun dies including this super cute shamrock. It’s a revolution die, so it’s a great size - 3 1/2” across.
I used Green Lush paper, ribbon and adhesive rhinestones from My Mind’s Eye. I’ve been using Green Lush lately and love, love, love it!
Also, some of you don’t like playing with mod podge (SHOCKING – I know!). So I thought I’d use the Nesting Eggs die from QuicKutz to make some paper eggs. I used the Quite Contrary - Jack and Jill paper from My Mind’s Eye, Green Lush Adhesive rhinestones, Green Lush Decorative Brads and Blue Lush ribbon.
The flower is cut using the Nesting Flower die. I scrunched up the pieces and put the pearl brad in the center.
I have an ides for 3-D paper flowers I’ll show you after Easter.
Have a great weekend!
