Today, on Good Things Utah, I demonstrated this wreath I made using The Merry Days of Christmas collection from My Mind's Eye.
I just LOVE how it turned out!
Talk about a simple, inexpensive project that makes an impact!
It's amazing what can be done with just a few pieces of paper, some ribbon and floral picks.
I designed this wreath for the My Mind's Eye Hobby Lobby Ad. I thought it was fun, enjoyed how it turned out, but was thrilled for a chance to "kick it up" a bit.
Would you like to make your own? I'll put a link to the segment with a video of my segment when it's up this afternoon.
Update: The segment video has been loaded in the left column.
But, in the meantime, I've included detailed instructions here.
This is a perfect project for Thanksgiving Day. After your belly is full, relax on the couch, cut out leaves and enjoy this wreath for many years to come.
I'd love to see what you come up with!

What a great segment! You present everything with such poise,...I would have been a wreck! Anyway, I love the detail up close of how you centered the designs on your leaves and the distressing. I bet it looks even better IRL!!

Do I have to be in Utah to get an elf boot?! I still wish I could get a witches boot. But I would love an elf if I can.

Everytime you upload something new, I think to myself "Oh! This has gotta be my favorite thing Amber has ever made!" But then you upload something else and I'm like, "No, this is my favorite!" ;) Girl! You make my head spin! Gorgeous projects! You inspire me so much! Have a great day!

GET OUT you did not MAKE this!! Ohhh that's just insane. This is off-the-chain amazing, Miss Amber!! I love papercrafted things that aren't cards or layouts - just soooo inspiring and really validate our craft. My word...this is just soooo beautiful....I can't take my eyes off it!
